I just used LWP to replace all the windows in my Park Slope brownstone apartment, and am totally pleased. The office contact, Marisol, was competent and professional, arranging convenient appointment times for measurement and installation. The same person (Fred) both measured the windows and returned to install them, thus insuring an accurate fit. Fred and his helper were pleasant and professional. They worked carefully and neatly, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done, even vacuuming the hallway and stairs. The windows they recommended were Champion 2500 aluminum, white inside and bronze outside, with heavy-duty 'pet screen' at no extra cost. They look great and function beautifully.

Apologies for the delay in writing this, but please don’t see my tardiness as a sign that we don’t appreciate the effort you put into our blinds – because we really do.

"When searching for a new supplier my belief is that while the internet has made it easier to find potential options, due to the often conflicting online reviews it’s much harder to actually choose between them. You now have completely polarized opinions from people who either had a fantastic experience, or completely the opposite. They post (often in equal numbers) reviews either advocating for the company, or completely against it – nothing in the middle. As a consumer it makes it really difficult to spot the good guys from the bad ones.

I had just that situation when choosing a supplier for new blinds. I searched all the available companies in NYC and Brooklyn. Some were inflexible on the appointment dates and others didn’t even call me back. I ended up with 3 companies including LWP, who I confirmed to call out to measure up and quote.

Richard impressed me from the moment he came into our apartment. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product, had a professional “I will get this done” attitude and an attention to detail on what would really make our room pop. His wasn’t the least expensive quote but he worked with us on options and in the end, we got good value for money.

All that said, where LWP and Richard in particular came into their own was on the after sales service. One of our blinds was made incorrectly by the manufacturer not once but twice. Richard completely agreed with us and negotiated with Hunter Blinds to have the whole set of four remade. As replacing just one blind in the set, would have left us without a color match.

I would thoroughly recommend LWP to any potential purchaser of blinds, not only for their selection, price and installation services but more for their fabulous after sales service - they really are the good guys"

Hi Rich,

I want to thank you for the beautiful window treatments you installed for me. When I finally purchased my dream home I decided it was time for quality window treatments, and I knew I wanted Hunter Douglas. After visiting there website I found two local dealers in my area. I visited both stores and found them to be of no help. I had photos of my new home, sizes with me and went prepared expecting advise on different types of window treatments. Instead I got “ look around and when you see what you like call me “. No one bothered to walk me around and explain the different products. Needless to say I left both stores very discouraged thinking to myself this is going to be harder than I thought.

Being originally from Brooklyn I called my Mom and asked her who she uses and found you. Boy am I glad I did. From the moment we spoke on the phone I felt I found the right place. After visiting your gorgeous showroom you were so helpful and I finally received the kind of service I expected. As you know I was only going to purchase a few rooms , but you were so helpful and priced right I decided to do the whole house. I love everything and thanks again.
